Litchfield Lacrosse Coaches Registration is open February 21st, 2022

The LLA is considering open positions at various age groups.  If you are willing to volunteer your time to help children learn and grow in the game of lacrosse and develop sportsmanship in a competitive environment, please click this link to the on-line coaching application: https://leagueathletics.com/Registration/Default.asp?n=119277&org=LITCHFIELDLACROSSE.ORG - details can be found in the application document, including contact information.

The league welcomes both coaches that are already certified and those who wish to become certified.  For those not yet certified, as part of becoming a coach the NH Youth Lacrosse Association requires that all head and assistant coaches be US Lacrosse Level 1 Certified.  To gain this certification, a coach is required by the LLA and NHYLA to take an online course and complete a background check by US Lacrosse.  You will be required to attend all such classes as well as any coaching instruction provided by the LLA.  Specific costs related to coaching will be reimbursed after being assigned to a team.  All teams must have at least two certified coaches.

For the 2022 season, all boys teams and girls from 10U/12U/14U teams start practices indoors at the Bedford SportsPlex prior to the start of Spring Season, on or about April 1st - dates and times for indoor practices TBD.

The small field girls teams (grades 1-4) will have skills sessions starting in February and running through March.  Outdoor practices will begin in April and each team will practice 2-3 times a week through the second week in June.  Games are on Sunday, though there may be an occasional game on Saturday due to offsetting a bye week or for makeup purposes.  Opening Day is typically the first or second week of April.  There is an end of the season festival where a team may play during one of the first weekends in June.
