Litchfield Lacrosse Association (LLA) is a member of US Lacrosse which is the national governing body of Lacrosse in the United States. US Lacrosse maintains an educational website called:

On the website, they offer great information on the game, its governing rules, safety equipment. US Lacrosse also governs the certification of coaches, referees, and players. US Lacrosse offers this wonderful little pamphlet that introduces the game of Lacrosse to parents and spectators who might be unfamiliar. LLA is also a member of the New Hampshire Lacrosse Foundation and New Hampshire Youth Lacrosse Association. Both promote and govern coaching instruction, maintain referees, organize and schedule competitive league competition:
